Who can have a card?
Any person who resides in the Piedmont Valley area may become a member of the library.  Proof of address is required.  Registration is free for Meade County residents. Non-resident fee is $15 per year for individuals and $25 for a family at the same residence, non-resident patrons do not currently have access to Libby/Overdrive. Persons under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to become a member.  Written consent from a parent or guardian is required for minors to use the Internet or check out materials.

How to obtain a library card 

Bring proof of your Meade County residence to the library to sign up.  We will request your name, address, telephone number, and ID.
Anyone under age 18 must have authorization from a parent/guardian.
